The project was part of the Competence Network Health Workforce CNHW, a cooperation between Universities of Applied Sciences in Health in Switzerland. Six years after graduation more than 600 nurses participated in the final survey, representing 38% of the 2011\/12 cohort. The research highlights that the early years in a nursing career involve professional development and frequent job transitions.
