As a part of the SCOHPICA (Swiss COhort of Health Professionals and Informal CAregivers) cohort symposium series, we are pleased to invite you to the conference presented by

ERIN P. FRAHER
Professor, Department of Family Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Director, Carolina Health Workforce Research Center

February 6 2025
12H30 – 13H30 – VIRTUAL FORMAT

Past research has assumed that a physician’s career trajectory follows an “innate developmental dynamic” and that the factors influencing physician behavior are static and generalizable over time. This presentation will describe how enhancing our understanding of how physician careers unfold—the patterns of similarity and dissimilarity between male and female physicians in different generational cohorts—has the potential to inform health workforce policy and planning.
